Educated in computer science, deeply steeped in math, Val hit her stride when she somewhat accidentally fell into the world of process design, improvement & optimization. When not surfing the perfect wave in her spare time, she very much enjoys facilitating clients in the classroom on Operational Excellence methodologies, and derives equal enjoyment from supporting the practical application of those tools, with an eye toward pro-actively managing the impact of resulting change. On the job, she translates her rule number one “life requires a sense of humor” into her firm belief that all humans learn & function better when they are having fun!
You can see Matthias eyes shine when he is telling about his little son and how he is learning and developing – just like Albus Dumbledore when transferring wisdom to Harry Potter. Not only with his son, Matthias’ passion is to transfer wisdom and knowledge and see other people growing. He loves to build capabilities in organizations.
